Evolve | Watch Your Language
12,617 words were added to the Oxford English Dictionary between 2000 and 2010. To be included, a word must simply be documented as being widely used. Watch Your Language is body of work that uses programs, both analog and computer, to explore this evolving nature of language, with particular attention given to the impact of digital culture and technologies. This series of installation pieces aims to engage the viewer in a visual dialogue about the otherwise unacknowledged permutations our language undergoes.
