Concept-driven. Process-oriented. Type-obsessed.

The broad strokes:

I joined the Centenary College of Louisiana faculty in the fall of 2011 as an assistant professor of communication and, in 2014, was appointed the Robert Ewing Jr. and John H. Hendrick, Jr. Eminent Scholars Distinguished Professor of Communication. In 2011, I earned a Master of Fine Arts in Communication Design at Louisiana Tech University.

Since arriving at Centenary, I've taught introductory and upper-level courses in web and graphic design, co-founded a cross-disciplinary living learning community focused on design and social media for social change, and pursued research interests involving generative art and procedural literacy as design pedagogy. Bringing my professional experience to the classroom, I continue to create award-winning work for my clients through BlueJay Creative, the graphic design company I founded in 2006.
