Concept and Process-Driven Print

Once when speaking with a friend I began a statement with, "Honestly, ..." My friend proceeded to point out that using such a modifier theoretically calls into question any statement I make that doesn't begin with "honestly." Intrigued, I spent one day using the word in every conversation I had, keeping a running total. Then, I typed the word in 1% opacity in a different typeface for each time I said "honestly." This piece visually communicates that even though I may declare my truthfulness to others, I'm not always 100% honest and those little white lies compound, becoming substantial over time.
